Something is still rubbing me wrong about it, so it isn't necessarily "finished" finished.

I'm not familiar with either of the characters, but I really like it. Loving all the tattoos and details.

I figured you would love the tattoos. I didn't draw Jack's terribly well and Sho's I changed for the drawing because that small the details would be muddled and she just look like she's covered in big black lumps all over her skin. The actual design is a little more... um, smokey and almost like tribal vines but made out of really fine details and Asian characters and images, so kinda hard to draw - that tiny anyway. She is about 6 inches on the original sketch.

Wow that's a tiny sketch.... and yeah, that might have looked sort of muddy. I've never played the game, but I've seen some of the fan porn, the tattoos are pretty detailed. I approve of your artistic license, I think both of their tattoos look cool and I really like the lighting.

Thanks Steven! I'm out of practice with drawing and did this for a friend who is obsessed with Mass Effect and interested in my character from an old story I worked on years ago. Jack from ME is very similar to my older charater Sho in background. We have a running joke about my brain being hooked up to some sort of creative matrix for everybody who is in a creative business (especially film) somehow manages to steal my ideas!
